OGAA Spring Baseball & Softball Schedule

OGAA Spring Baseball and Softball

Season Schedule:

1. Registration Closes: Saturday, February 13th at Midnight. Click Here to Register online

2. Uniform Fitting for T-Ball, 5-6 year old coach pitch, and 6U Softball: Friday, February 19th 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM

3. Tryouts and Uniform Fitting (Baseball 7-12 Years Old and Softball 8U-18U):  Saturday, February 20th (Times TBD)

4. Make-Up Tryouts: Monday, February 22nd at 6:00 PM

5. Draft Dates: Tuesday, February 23rd, Wednesday, February 24th (Only Coaches Need to Attend)

6. Practices Begin: March 1st

7. Opening Day: March 20th

8. Regular Season Ends: May 6th

9. End of Season Tournament: May 10th-13th

10. All-Stars Announced on Thursday, May 13th.

11. All-Star Practices begin Saturday, May 15th

Safe Sports Act

With the acceptance of the Safe Sports Act, it is now required for all Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches to participate in Abuse Awareness Training.  In addition, coaches are still required to complete and submit their OGAA Coaching Application, which allows us to conduct background checks.

Required Equipment for Baseball and Softball

Baseball Equipment Requirements

1.  Glove, Helmet, and Bat (Click Here for Bat Rules)

2.  Cleats are not required, but are recommended.  Metal Cleats are only allowed in ages 13 and above

 

 

Softball Equipment Requirements

1.  Glove, Helmet, and Bat (Bat Must Say Fastpitch, No other requirements)

2.  Cleats are not required, but are recommended. Metal Cleats are only allowed in ages 13 and above
